Privacy
policy.
This policy explains what information Violet Dasse collects through this website, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Information collected
When you send an inquiry, search for a service or venue address, book, pay, or complete a questionnaire, the website may collect your name, email address, property or venue address, appointment selection, project or event details, links you provide, payment status, and communications with Violet.
The website and its service providers may also receive technical information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, referring page, and security or error logs needed to operate and protect the service.
How information is used
- Respond to inquiries and provide requested services.
- Verify addresses, calculate travel, schedule appointments, and process payments.
- Prepare for a consultation and maintain project records.
- Send transactional messages about inquiries, bookings, receipts, questionnaires, and project activity.
- Prevent fraud, spam, misuse, and technical failures.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations.
Information submitted for a project is not sold. It is not used for unrelated marketing without permission.
Service providers
Violet uses service providers for website hosting, secure payment processing, address suggestions and verification, database and file storage, and email delivery. Card details are entered directly into Stripe Checkout and are not stored by VioletDasse.com. Address text is sent to Esri's address suggestion service while you type and to the United States Census Geocoder after selection to return a standardized match and coordinates for travel calculation.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. Information may also be disclosed when legally required or when reasonably necessary to protect customers, Violet, or the website.
Measurement and cookies
VioletDasse.com records limited first-party events such as page views, booking starts, address verification, checkout progress, completed payments, and inquiry submissions. These measurements are used to understand whether the website is working and which services visitors are trying to reach. The site does not use a third-party behavioral advertising pixel.
An anonymous identifier may be kept in session storage until the browser tab is closed. It is converted to a one-way hash before storage with an event and is not used to follow visitors across unrelated websites. Essential technologies may also be used for website security and payment checkout.
Social media platforms may independently collect information when you interact with an advertisement or their services. Their collection is controlled by their policies and account settings.
Retention and security
Inquiry, booking, payment-status, and project records are kept as long as reasonably needed to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, and protect the website. Records that are no longer needed may be deleted or deidentified.
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information held by Violet, subject to records that must be retained for legal, accounting, security, or active-service purposes. You may also ask questions about how your information is used.
